I’m back with a new petition involving Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn and the not surprising decision to clear his deputies Shaun LeClair, and Matt Clancy of any wrong doing in the execution style shooting of Gary Brockler’s pitbull Diablo on June 1st, 2012. It’s so touching to see cops look out for their own, but guess what? Us pitty owners and lovers look out for our own as well and I need all of your help again in signing and circulating this petition.
Ironically, Sheriff O’Flynn is a board member of the Humane Society of Rochester, New York. Since there was NOTHING “humane” about an innocent pet being executed on his own property, we demand that the Humane Society of Rochester, New York, which usually has NO problem whatsoever charging people with Animal Abuse and Cruelty charges, not only denounce this execution, but also immediately remove Monroe County, N.Y. Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn from their Board.
There were other non lethal options available if Deputies LeClair and Clancy felt threatened by Diablo and none were used before hastily using deadly force against Diablo. Peper spray or a tazer would have stopped him in his tracks and Gary would still have his best friend today.
Please sign this petition and share it with everyone you know. It takes only once click and only a couple seconds out of your day but you speak volumes for Diablo and other family pets who have been ruthlessly executed at the hands of law enforcement.
His mate was seriously injured after she was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road. He brought her food and tended to her with love and compassion.
He brought her food again but was shocked to find her dead. He then tried to move her….a rarely-seen effort for swallows. Aware that his mate is dead, he cries with adoring love. He stood beside her body with sadness and sorrow.
People cried after seeing these pictures when they were published in the leading newspaper in France. All copies of the paper were sold out on the day the pictures were released.
And many people think animals don’t have emotions.
Mt. Everest has around 200 dead bodies on the mountain. It is nearly impossible for recovery of a body off the mountain. The “death zone” is 26,000 feet. The air there is so thin. Lack of oxygen leaves climber bewildered and weak and can cause them to pass out and get frostbite. Many people lose their lives here. The bodies are left the same as how they died and have even become landmarks for other travellers. The photograph shows a body which has been given the name “green boots” and has been there since 1996.
Only in Indonesia (especially Toraja), a corpse is usually being carried up to the grave, but in Toraja, the corpse is woken up letting it to walk to its grave (it is rarely performed anymore).
The corpse is woken up using black magic. This is done because in Toraja the graves/cemetries are placed above limestones mountains.
The corpse walks by itself, and it’s guided by an expert in black magic behind it. The corpse then falls down and isn’t able to walk again.
